We used the organization as a way of sharing information, pooling our resources and cooperating with one another in order to create joint venture opportunity. Councilmember Steve Cho is a native Californian. He was born and raised in Los Angeles.
He received his B.A. in Mathematics from Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri), and
M.S. in Computer Science from University of Southern California. Ever since moving to
Fremont in 1974, Councilmember Cho has been active in many community and professional
organizations. He was President of Citizens for Better Community (1999), Fremont City
Charter Committee (1997) and Planning Commissioner (1998). His goal is to make the great
City of Fremont an even greater city.

Mr. Gus Morrison served almost 25 years as member of the Fremont City Council, 14 of them as Mayor. He earned a BA in History from San Jose State University. His pursuit of an MA in History was halted by his public service career. He now acts as both a political consultant and as a consultant to local governments in the areas of council development and council/staff relationships. He was dedicated to preserving and protecting Fremont's unique places, especially our hills and our baylands, and to maintaining the dream of our founders to build a special place here in our corner of Alameda County.

Mayor Bob Wasserman has served on the Fremont City Council since 1992. Prior to his election, he spent almost 40 years in law enforcement, and served as Fremont's Chief of Police from 1976 to 1991. Mayor Wasserman received his B.S degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Cal State Los Angeles and his Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He enjoys the opportunity to serve the community that his office provides. His goal is to keep Fremont a safe city where people can live, work, play and shop.
