DAVID J. YANG & ASSOCIATES was founded in 1984 jointly by Mr. David J. Yang and his associates with its principal office in San Francisco, California. The firm has an international network of attorneys throughout China, Taiwan, and the Southeast Asia. Throughout the past over 20 years, the firm has emphasized its legal practice in the following areas:

DAVID J. YANG Esq., the firm’s founder and principal, received his Master of Law degree from Southern Methodist University, Texas, and his Juris Doctor degree from Ohio Northern University, Ohio. Mr. Yang was admitted to the California bar in 1983. He is also admitted to practice at the U.S. District Court, Northern District; United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. David Yang is an experienced business and litigation attorney. Throughout his professional law practice, he has emphasized legal counseling to business enterprises in the areas of commercial laws and business litigation. Mr. Yang has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts in the areas of international and business law. Mr. Yang has also had extensive experience in handling various motions in both state and federal courts. Mr. David Yang has two published opinions in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit: Taiwan v. U.S. District Court, 128 F.3d 712 (9th Cir. 1997) and Sun v. Taiwan, 201 F. 3d 1105 (9th Cir. 2000).

Mr. David Yang sits as a Pro Tem Judge, Superior Court of the State of California, County of San Francisco. Mr. Yang participates in numerous legal related groups and is a member of the San Francisco Trial Attorney Association. Mr. Yang teaches California Procedures; Contract and Business Organizations at University of California, Berkeley (Extension) Paralegal Studies.
