Charles Tzeng is the Senior Vice President of Far East National Bank. Far East National Bank (FENB) was founded in 1974 as the first federally chartered Asian American Bank in the United States. FENB has over 350 employees and total assets exceeding US$2.05 billion. FENB became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Taiwan’s Bank Sinopac (a member of Sinopac Holdings) in 1997. Sinopac Holdings has total assets of US$34 billion, serving more than 2.5 million customers throughout Asia and North America from over 220 service locations.
Mr. Tzeng has over 30-year experience in the deposit & loan development, trade finance and trading bonds & short term money market instruments such as commercial paper and NCD etc. He was the Vice President of Bank Sinopac. Prior to joining Bank Sinopac, he worked for Bank of Taiwan for 15 years.
Mr. Tzeng was assigned to Yasuda Trust Bank, Daiwa Securities and Jardine Fleming Investment Consulting Company in Japan and Citibank, New York to learn the portfolio management in 1989. In 1991, he was assigned to learn bond market and bond trading at Lehman Brothers, Bear Stern and Chase Securities in New York.
Mr. Tzeng was introduced by Andrew Lee, Antec Inc. to join SVCACA in 1999. He has been the CFO of SVCACA from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, he was appointed to be the Secretary General. In 2007 he was elected to be VP. In 2008, he was elected to be President of SVCACA.
1n 1998, he received his degree of Master of Business Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans and BA from National Ocean University in 1975. |
