Charles Chen is the president of Aveslink Technology, Inc. Aveslink is dedicated to sell, design and manufacture antenna and accessory products for the key markets that cover the wireless spectrum for today's major wireless communication applications.
Mr. Chen has over 20-year experience in the business development and technical, marketing, manufacturing aspects in the semiconductor, computer and consumer electronics industry. Since 2002, Mr. Chen assists more than 50 start-up companies in Silicon Valley to explore and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, acquisitions, partnerships, fund raising, alliances and joint ventures.
In 2001, Mr. Chen persuaded and preceded the Merger and Acquisition of his own company, Portatec, with Broadcom Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Chen spent his career for 15 years in IC design and management with SGS-Thomson, Winbond Electronics, Samsung Semiconductor, Integrated Device Technology, CyberHome and Broadcom.
In 1985, he received his degree of Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Arizona State University and B.S.E.E. from Chung-Yuan University in 1980.
